DelMNH Hosts Astronomy Day- May '14

May 10 was AstronomyDay and DAS promoted it under very cloudy skies at the Delaware Museum of Natural History. After Greg Lee gave an informative presentation in the lecture hall, he, Keith Given and I, with assistance from the friendly museum staff (who generously shared freshly popped popcorn), spent time explaining features of solar system objects and different telescope designs at this weather affected low attendance event. The Moon played a hazy, murky game of peek-a-boo before it retreated entirely when a light rain began that ended the festivities.
